RSAC would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Cynthia, who made a generous donation in memory of her beloved son, Zak Kaler.

Zak loved cats, and Cynthia continues to honor his memory by helping provide much-needed care for cats in our community. We are deeply touched by this beautiful gesture and are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate Zak’s life through kindness and compassion for animals.

Because of Cynthia’s generous donation, 12 cats were neutered and 4 cats were spayed—16 cats whose lives have been positively impacted in Zak’s honor. ❤️🐾

Thank you, Cynthia, for your incredible support and for helping us continue to honor Zak’s memory in such a meaningful way. His love for cats lives on through the lives you are helping save and improve.

Meet Mildred — Still Waiting for Her Forever 💕
Mildred thought she had finally found her forever home, but sadly, things didn’t work out. Through no fault of her own, this sweet girl has found herself back at the shelter and looking for a new family to love.

Mildred is around 6 years old and is a true connoisseur of the finer things in life. Give her a fluffy bed, some tasty treats, a cozy place to lounge, and plenty of affection, and she’ll be one happy girl!

Mildred is sweet, affectionate, and ready to put shelter life behind her once and for all. She deserves a family who will cherish her, spoil her, and give her the loving forever home she’s been waiting for.

Get ready to fall in love with Damien. This handsome tabby came to us as a stray alongside his sister, but he certainly hasn’t let his unknown past stop him from making friends!

Damien has been sweet and friendly from the moment he arrived. He’s the kind of guy who doesn’t just ask for affection—he’ll happily hop right into your arms for all the love and snuggles he can get. With that fluffy coat, those big gorgeous eyes, and his affectionate personality, he makes it pretty hard not to adore him.

At just 11 months old, Simon is basically a teenager—which means he’s got plenty of playful energy, a little bit of mischief, and a whole lot of love to give.

Simon is an affectionate, playful boy who enjoys attention and spending time with his people. He’d be happy in a home with children, as long as they understand that sometimes a guy just needs a little personal space.

Simon has never lived with dogs before, so we’re not sure how he feels about canine roommates. He was recently neutered and vaccinated and is officially ready to trade shelter life for a home of his own.

Unlike the puzzle, this Rubiks is pretty easy to figure out: he just wants to be loved. 🥹❤️

Rubiks came to us as a stray, so we don’t know much about his life before arriving here. What we do know is that he’s a friendly, loving boy who is more than ready to trade shelter life for a home of his own.

He’s already neutered and vaccinated, so all that’s missing is his forever person. 🏡🐾

Axel is a handsome 4-year-old Great Dane who is looking for a patient and understanding forever home. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

Axel is a sweet, affectionate boy who can be shy and nervous, especially in unfamiliar situations. He can sometimes be easily startled—he may even get scared of his own shadow! Once he feels comfortable and safe, he enjoys showing his affectionate side and forming a bond with his people.

Axel is housebroken and has lived with teenagers and adults. Because he can become nervous and may be snappy at times, he would do best with adopters who understand that he needs time, patience, consistency, and respect for his boundaries.

Axel needs to be the only dog in the home. A calm, predictable environment where he can settle in at his own pace would be ideal.

Axel also experiences seasonal allergies, so his future family should be prepared to continue managing them as needed with guidance from their veterinarian.

If you're looking for a gentle giant who needs someone willing to earn his trust and give him the time he deserves, Axel may be the companion you've been looking for.
