🚨 SWEETWATER COUNTY CERT 🚨— PREPARED BEFORE WE’RE NEEDED

Another great night of training with Sweetwater County CERT!

Tonight, SC-CERT members spent time learning what belongs in a properly equipped CERT response bag and, more importantly, why those items matter when the team is called upon to assist the county during an emergency or disaster.

But preparedness doesn’t stop at the CERT bag.

Members also discussed Everyday Carry (EDC) bags and the practical items individuals can carry to help them stay prepared for the unexpected—whether at home, on the road, at work, or simply going about their daily lives.

Because when an emergency happens, you don't rise to the occasion—you fall back on the preparation you've done beforehand.

CERT isn't about pretending to be a first responder.

It's about being a trained, prepared, and dependable community resource when our neighbors and professional responders need additional support.

We train together.
We prepare together.
We serve together.

Sweetwater County CERT — Ready to Help. Ready to Serve. Ready When Needed.
