A huge THANK YOU to Black Rock Industries, Conner McGill, Mike Opatrny, and their crew for giving the RVFD station a fresh new look! 🚒

The new striping looks fantastic and will be a huge help to our drivers when backing our apparatus into the station. We truly appreciate you taking care of RVFD and supporting our department!🚒

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for portions of Bell, Falls, and northern Milam County. As the storm cell continues to move south with torrential rainfall rates exceeding 2 to 4 inches per hour we can expect this Flash Flood Warning to be extended to cover the remainder of Milam County.

The Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department extends our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Chief Caleb Miller’s family and to our brothers and sisters at the Rosebud Volunteer Fire Department.

Please keep his family, his department, and all who knew and loved him in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Chief. We’ll take it from here.
