UCP Saddle Pals in Sacramento provides weekly adapted horsemanship lessons to people with disabilities, age 4 and up.
Horseback riding can help improve coordination, balance, and posture, and this program promotes growth, independence, and improved quality of life for program participants.
I had a wonderful time touring the facility and meeting all the volunteers! Learn more about this incredible organization: https://ucpsacto.org/programs-services/saddle-pals/

For many, today marks the start of the summer season. But for the brave men and women, who gave their ultimate sacrifice, we honor and remember them and their families.

Recently, I was invited to tour the Head Start program for KidZ Community in Roseville. It was a wonderful afternoon meeting and spending time with these young students and their parents.
This organization fosters a learning environment that encourages curiosity, reflection, and family engagement.
As Chairman of the Elementary Education Subcommittee, I relish the chance to visit classrooms and hear directly from students and teachers on how we can support their work.

On Saturday, I hosted a reception at Sierra College to congratulate all those who participated in the 2026 Congressional Art Competition. More than 30 high school students from across the Third District submitted artwork, and an independent panel of experts graded each submission. I was honored to present each student participant with congratulatory Certificates of Recognition, and I would like to congratulate Anhdan Pham, who won first place. Her art piece will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. Our second and third place finishers both had ties—2nd-Grace Berarducci, Jennah Ahmed; 3rd- James Burns, Sophie Economon. These students will have their pieces displayed in my D.C. office and local district office.

These investments reflect our commitment to improving and strengthening our communities across the Third District. Each of these projects, including improving aging infrastructure, represent a meaningful use of taxpayer dollars.
Today, Supervisors Shanti Landon - Placer County Supervisor and Bonnie Gore and Director of Public Works Derek Gade were presented with a $1 million check by Congressman Kevin Kiley to support the installation of three new stoplights on Baseline Road!
Thank you, Rep. Kiley, for securing the federal funding to help increase safety and decrease delays on Baseline Road! We appreciate your partnership in delivering critical infrastructure for our community.

It was my privilege to attend and recognize four amazing young men and celebrate them achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Scouting America.
Collin, Jake, Sebastian, and Declan represent the best of our future, demonstrating strong leadership, commitment to giving back to their communities, and are leading the charge in inspiring younger Scouts to pursue their own goals. Congratulations!
