Veronica Blake is the CEO of the Placer Community Foundation, an organization that forms partnerships between community groups and local residents. Spending time sitting in traffic - and some Placer residents spent an extra 160 hours in traffic last year - is time away from family and volunteering in the community. If we want to keep Placer County a great place to raise families, we need to do something about the traffic.

The I-80/Highway 65 Interchange Improvement project just might be the most popular project included within Measure M. Have you ever wondered what the new interchange would look like? Check out this simulation that Placer County Transportation Planning Agency - PCTPA had done that demonstrates the new improved interchange. The final environmental document for the entire interchange was approved in September 2016. This means should voters approve Measure M, Phase One construction can begin in 2017!
