Placer County Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission

Tomorrow, October 19, the Placer County Juvenile Justice Commission is having a meeting at 6:00 in Room 111, 5701 Lonetree Blvd. The public is welcome to attend!

This federal legislation, if passed, would prevent youth from being incarcerated for non-criminal acts (i.e. skipping school, incorrigibility, running away). There's an abundance of evidence that locking kids up only makes them worse, and increases that chances that they will drop out of school. Would you be willing to providing written support to your Federal Senators?
