Rockport Volunteer Fire Department showing our respect for all of the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11th 2001. May we always honor the ones we lost on that tragic day and continue that honor by always showing appreciation to our firefighters/first responders who still put their lives on the line everyday to protect your family and their own to this day. ♥️🤍💙

Does your community rely on volunteer firefighters… and do you even know?

Across the country, volunteers are the ones responding when the call comes in. 🚒❤️ This National Volunteer Week, we’re recognizing the impact they make every day.

If you’ve ever thought about signing up for your local fire department, do it! And if you havent thought about it, think about it! Lol. Come see us. We meet every monday evening at 7... 6:30 if there is a training. Come learn, help your community and have a good time with us!

On Monday evening, volunteers from Rockport, Centertown and Beaver Dam came together and did a training on forcible entry. We had a really good time as always.

Alert ⚠️:
- DO NOT BURN ON SUNDAY, KENTUCKY. Low humidities + mostly dry grounds + winds = increased fire spread probabilities. Let's keep our friends and families safe, DON'T BURN. - George
