📣 EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES TO JOIN OUR PTO BOARD! 🎉💙💛

It's an ELECTION YEAR for the Rockton PTO, and we're looking for passionate parents and community members who want to make a difference in our schools! 🙌

Did you know our PTO holds board elections every TWO years? That means ALL board positions are up for election for the upcoming school year!

✨ But wait… does that mean our current board is leaving?! Not necessarily!

Our elections are an opportunity for:
💙 Current board members to run for reelection in their existing positions.

💛 Current members to switch things up and run for a different role.

💚 NEW faces, fresh perspectives, and creative ideas to join the team and make their own impact!

🗳️ Positions Up for Election:

⭐ President – Leads meetings and serves as a liaison between the PTO and our schools.

⭐ Vice President – Supports the president, volunteers, and PTO membership.

⭐ Secretary – Keeps meeting notes, agendas, and important records organized.

⭐ Treasurer – Manages budgets, expenses, and financial reporting.

⭐ Parent Representatives – Represent our schools, share ideas, and strengthen communication between families and the PTO.

⭐ Public Relations (PR) – Creates newsletters, social media posts, flyers, and communications for our school community.

⭐ Concessions Coordinator – Oversees inventory and helps coordinate concessions for school events and activities.

❤️ Here's what we want everyone to know: You don't have to have PTO experience to get involved! You just need a willingness to contribute, collaborate, and help make our school community even better.

Our current board has worked hard to build something wonderful, and elections give us the opportunity to continue that momentum while welcoming new ideas, new talents, and new leadership!

Whether you've been involved for years or have been watching from the sidelines thinking, "Maybe I should get more involved…" — THIS IS YOUR SIGN! 🌟

💬 Interested in a position or curious about what serving on the board looks like? Reach out! We'd love to answer your questions and help you find a role that fits your interests and talents.

Your time. Your talents. A stronger school community! 💙💛
