🌟 What’s New with ECS? Sharing knowledge and strengthening early childhood connections!

ECS staff brought their expertise to the 33rd Annual Maryland State Family Child Care Association Conference in Ocean City!

🎤 Supriya Avadhanula, MCITP Medical Outreach Coordinator, shared strategies to help providers support early development, talk with families about developmental milestones, and connect children with early intervention services.

💛 Saru Nithyanandam, CCSS CCIPS Quality Enhancement Coordinator, presented “Empowering Children Through Emotional Wellness,” offering practical tools to nurture social-emotional skills, self-awareness, and wellbeing.

The Family Involvement Center is offering LENA Start, a free, interactive program for parents and caregivers of children ages 0–3. Families will discover simple ways to support their child’s language development through talking, reading, singing, and playing.
