Today, our crews completed their annual pole-top and bucket-truck rescue training. This hands-on exercise reinforces the skills needed to safely and quickly rescue a fellow lineman in an emergency.

While we hope this training is never needed in a real-life situation, it’s vital to help ensure our crews are prepared to respond when every second counts. At Parke County REMC, safety is at the core of everything we do! ⚡

October is National Co-op Month, and Co-op Community Day is a great reminder of what it means to be part of a cooperative!

Recently, several of our employees volunteered with SAWs (Servants at Work) to help build a new handicap ramp for a local veteran as part of our Community Day Project.

Concern for Community is not only one of the cooperative principles — it’s a core value that we’re proud to put into action.
