The VFC program provides vaccines for eligible children from birth through age 18. Children may qualify if they are:
• Enrolled in Medicaid
• Uninsured
• Underinsured (insurance does not cover the vaccine)
• American Indian or Alaska Native
• Otherwise eligible under Indiana’s publicly funded vaccine guidelines

Adults age 19 and older who are uninsured or underinsured may qualify for publicly funded vaccines through Indiana’s Adult 317 program.
✨ What does this mean for Parke County?
If you or your child have been putting off vaccines because of cost or lack of insurance, give us a call! We can determine eligibility and help you get the vaccines you need.

🌾🚜 Farm Safety Starts With All of Us! 🚜🌾
Harvest season means more tractors, combines, grain trucks, and farm equipment on our roads and in our fields. A little extra caution can help keep our farmers, families, and community safe.
🌽 Farm Safety Reminders:
• Slow down and be patient when approaching farm equipment on the road.
• Never pass unless you have a clear view and it is safe and legal to do so.
• Watch for slow-moving vehicle signs, especially on hills and curves.
• Keep children away from moving equipment, grain bins, and other farm hazards.
• Use seat belts and appropriate protective equipment.
• Stay alert around power lines, PTOs, machinery, and livestock.
• Take breaks, stay hydrated, and avoid working when overly fatigued.
Our farmers work long hours to keep our communities going. During this busy season, slow down, stay alert, and help everyone make it home safely. 💛
