Our fifth graders took their science learning outdoors to explore micro-ecosystems: small communities where living things interact with one another and their surroundings.

With curious eyes and lab journals, students observed ant hills, spider webs, birds’ nests, and other signs of life. They asked thoughtful questions and used scientific knowledge.

Inspired by the classical tradition of learning through close observation, students practiced noticing details, recording evidence, and reflecting on the order and interdependence of the natural world. The sunshine made a wonderful classroom! We made sure to observe gently and leave every habitat undisturbed.

Congratulations to Thaden! 🎉 We are so proud of all the girls and the hard work they put in this season!
A huge thank-you to all of our parents, Coach Williford, Coach Jardot, Coach Jones, and our volleyball players for helping us host this year’s conference tournament. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💙💛

🌊🍬 Science is sweeter when you can build it!
Our 4th graders got hands-on with science by creating 3D wave models using candy and skewers! What a fun way to bring learning to life and explore how waves work.
Thank you, Mrs. Preston, for making science engaging, creative, and memorable for our students! 💙💛

Coach Williford took his health students outside to explore how our environment influences the choices we make about our health and well-being! From observing their surroundings to discussing healthy decision-making, students discovered that learning doesn’t always happen within four walls.

👏 Way to go, Coach Williford, for bringing health education to life! 💚
