Georgia District Exchange Club

10/23/2026

Congratulations John!👏🏻 We appreciate your dedication to your club, community and the Georgia District Exchange Clubs. John serves as the President-Elect of the Georgia District Exchange Clubs in addition to his service in the Exchange Club of Rome, GA.

This morning, we gathered for our Annual CAP Champ Breakfast to honor the donors and volunteers whose generosity, time, and commitment help advance our mission of strengthening families and preventing child abuse in Floyd and Polk counties.

A special highlight was naming John Fortune as our 2026 Star Volunteer Award recipient! A board member since 2021, John has willingly stepped up wherever he’s needed, from chairing our Jim Bishop Memorial Golf Tournament to supporting fundraising efforts and helping with the everyday tasks that keep our agency moving forward.

Award namesake and presenter Katie Dempsey highlighted John’s dependability and consistency in serving the FRC, noting that no role is too large or too small for him. He is truly an asset to our organization!

Please help us congratulate John on this well-deserved honor!
