The Defense Finance and Accounting Service will hold a job fair on Tuesday, October 27 from 4:30-6:30 pm in the library's Dillon Room. Come learn about current and future DFAS opportunities, including accounting technicians, contact representatives, accountants, and financial analysts, and apply!

Pride 101 will be October 20th at 7pm at Jervis Library. Open to all who are interested in learning more about the LGBTQIA+ community.

Visit the library’s parking lot on Wednesday, 10/14, from 10am–2pm to have confidential paper items shredded and recycled by Confidata representatives. No other items will be collected for recycling on this day.

During the drive-thru event, all attendees will be asked to remain in their vehicles. Confidata advises that there is a five bankers’ box limit on items to be shredded and that staples need not be removed. Boxes will be emptied and returned to participants.

According to Confidata, acceptable paper items for onsite shredding include, but are not limited to: old files, computer print-outs, typing paper, account ledger sheets, copier paper, memos, plain envelopes, index cards, manila folders, brochures, pamphlets, blueprints, post-it notes, unbound reports, calculator tapes, and notebook paper.
