Elevated fire danger is forecast across much of the area on Monday due to the combination of gusty southwest winds, low relative humidity values, and dry fuels.

🚒 Small Equipment Grant Update 🚒

We’re excited to share some of the new equipment our department has received through the $25,964.41 Small Equipment Grant awarded by the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal.

This grant has allowed us to add new equipment that will improve firefighter safety, communication, and our ability to respond to emergencies in our community.

We are extremely grateful for this opportunity and for the support that helps us continue improving our department and serving the residents of the Roodhouse Fire Protection District.

Thank you to the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal for making this grant possible! 🚒🇺🇸

Take a look at some of the equipment we received below! 👇
