Proud to honor Illinois native Charlie Kirk today.

Born and raised in the Land of Lincoln, Charlie has spent years empowering young people to stand up for free speech, limited government, and the American Dream. From Arlington Heights to campuses across the country, his work with Turning Point USA has inspired a generation of students—including right here in Illinois—to get involved, speak out, and defend the principles that make this country exceptional.

Thank you, Charlie, for showing what it looks like when an Illinoisan refuses to stay silent. Students for IL stands with you.

Being conservative on an Illinois college campus shouldn’t mean keeping your views to yourself.

Across campuses throughout the state, students are building communities rooted in free speech, individual responsibility, limited government, and a belief in the American experiment.

There’s nothing wrong with standing by your principles.

Proud to be conservative. Proud to be a student. Proud to be an Illinoisan.

Enes Freedom told the truth: a woman is an adult human female.

He was removed from a Chicago Sky game for it.

Natasha Cloud responded by pledging to protect every trans-identifying person.

Governor JB Pritzker and Attorney General Kwame Raoul have made Illinois official policy clear — biological males belong in female sports categories.

Meanwhile, Chicago’s own Brian Urlacher said what most Americans still know: a man is a man and a woman is a woman.

This is not complicated.

Male bodies have physical advantages that do not disappear with a declaration. Women’s sports were created to give girls and women a fair shot. Erasing that category is not progress. It is the erasure of women.

Republicans stand for biological reality, Title IX, and the rights of female athletes.

Democrats in Illinois have chosen ideology over fairness.

Chicago Public Schools spent $7.7 million on overnight travel in a single year.

That’s a 2,467% increase from just $300,000 in 2021.
Over six years the total hit $23.6 million.

Meanwhile only 30.5% of students in grades 3–8 could read at grade level.
Only 18.3% were proficient in math.

Adults flew on vacation.
Kids fell further behind.

This wasn’t a funding shortage.
It was a priority failure — documented by the district’s own Inspector General.

Lavish trips and weak oversight while the majority of students cannot read or do math at grade level.

Students first.
Not the travel budget.

Share if you believe Chicago’s kids deserve better than this.
Comment “STUDENTS FIRST” if you’re done accepting these results.

The future of Illinois isn't inevitable.

We can choose to leave things as they are, or we can choose to build something better.

A state where young people can build a future.

Communities where families feel safe.

An economy where opportunity is within reach.

A government that earns the public's trust.

The next generation doesn't have to wait for someone else to lead.

We build it.

JB Pritzker fought to give illegal immigrants in-state tuition, state financial aid, and scholarships at Illinois public universities.

Illinois students pay over $18,000 a year in-state.

Out-of-state students pay nearly double.
Seats are limited. Aid is limited.

Under policies like the RISE Act and the Illinois DREAM Act, the state extended those same breaks to people who entered the country illegally — benefits that were not equally available to American citizens from other states.

A federal judge just ruled those policies unconstitutional.
That ruling matters.

Public university spots and state dollars are finite. Every preferential break given away is one less opportunity for an Illinois student who grew up here, followed the rules, and plans to build a life here.

We’re already competing with international enrollment and H-1B pathways for the same limited seats. Adding open preference for illegal entry on top of that was a choice — and it put Illinois kids further back in line.

Leadership means putting your own students first.
Not second.

Not after people who broke the law to get here.

Illinois students deserve the front of the line.

The next generation starts with the ones who show up for them.

Comment FIRST if you’re done watching Illinois put everyone else ahead of its own kids.

Students for Illinois is building a movement focused on the issues that matter most to the next generation.
- Americans First
- Law and Order
- Youth-Focused Economics
- Anti-Corruption

We believe Illinois should be a state that prioritizes its citizens, supports safe communities, creates opportunities for young people, and holds public officials accountable.
These principles will continue to guide our work as we organize students across the state and build the next generation of conservative leadership.
