PRESCRIBED FIRE TRAIL CLOSURE NOTICE:
A significant trail closure will be in place for prescribed fire operations on the Roslyn Ridge effective Monday Oct 5th until further notice. See map below.
Affected trails are:
• Ewok from the Urban Forest Boundary to the top of the Ridge.
• Mid-ridge road
• Main Ridge Road between Ewok/Crooked tree and Brass Monkey
• Hill That Never Ends
• Paul’s Trail West of Crooked Tree to Brass Monkey.
To the west Brass Monkey out of Ronald will remain open with the ONLY ACCESS being Mixtape.
On the east side of the closure Crooked Tree will remain open.
For firefighter and public safety please obey trail closures. Prescribed fire on the Cle Elum Ridge is part of a comprehensive community and infrastructure protection plan for communities in the Cle Elum Valley. Work is funded by the Washington DNR, USDA Forest Service, City of Roslyn, and private partners.
Prescribed Fire Operations are led and managed by The Nature Conservancy with support from UKC Fuels, USDA Forest Service, and multiple local fire jurisdictions.
