🐷💵 90% and SO close! 💵🐷

We’re in the last lap of Piggy Palooza and need just 10% more to reach our goal! Let’s finish strong, Northwood! ❤️💙

Bring in bills of any size — every dollar helps our school and gets us closer to the finish line.

🎟️ Raffle reminder: Every day a student brings in any amount of money, they earn one raffle ticket for that day to enter for the prize of their choice. Each day is a new chance to donate and a new chance to win!

👀 And there’s only ONE prize left!

Let’s bring in that last 10%! 🐽✨

🐷🎉 WE’RE OVER THE HUMP! 🎉🐷

It’s only Day 3 of Piggy Palooza and Northwood has already reached 70% of our goal! 🙌 We are SO close — let’s keep that momentum going and race all the way to 100%!

🎟️ Raffle reminder for families:
Each day a student brings in any amount of money, they earn one raffle ticket for that day to enter for the prize of their choice! No contribution that day simply means no raffle ticket for that day — so even a little bit gives your child another chance to win. 💕🐷

And there are still THREE prizes left to win! 👀🎁

Every dollar adds up and directly supports our school, so keep those piggy banks coming! Coins, bills, small donations, big donations — it all moves us closer to our goal.

Can we hit 100% before Piggy Palooza is over?! 🚀🐽

We Need You! 💙 Enrichment Fund Week Volunteers Needed

Hi Northwood PTA Members,

Next week is Enrichment Fund Week, one of the most important fundraising weeks of the year for Northwood PTA! The funds raised help us provide programs, activities, and experiences that directly benefit our students throughout the school year.

And to make the week a success, we need our PTA members!

We know everyone’s schedules are busy, and we aren’t asking for a huge commitment. If you can give us just an hour or two next week, it would make a tremendous difference. We have three fun and easy ways to get involved:

🐷 Piggy Palooza – Morning Carpool & Bus Arrival
We need volunteers to dress up as pigs! 🐷 Help us bring some fun and excitement to Enrichment Fund Week by greeting students during morning carpool and bus arrival. Volunteers can bring ONE child to dress up as well!

🎪 Family Fun Night – Friday, September 18 | 6–8 PM
Help us make one of Northwood’s favorite family events a success! We have several volunteer shifts still available.

📸 Picture Day – Friday
Help our photographers keep Picture Day running smoothly! Volunteers will assist with organizing students and making sure everyone is ready for their picture.

Our goal is simple: if every PTA member who is able gives just an hour or two, these events become so much easier to pull off. Volunteering is also a great way to be part of what’s happening at Northwood, meet other parents, and see firsthand the fun our PTA helps bring to our students.

Please take a minute today to click one of the links above and choose a shift that works for you. Every single volunteer helps!

Thank you for supporting Northwood and helping us make Enrichment Fund Week a great one! 💙

Picture day is Friday, September 18th We will need nine volunteers total to help in three shifts. The shifts will be 8:00-9:30, 9:30-11:00, & 11:00-1:00 There will be three cameras, and a helper is needed on each. Thank you so much for volunteering! Please reach out with any questions. Please review...

🏈 What a morning! Opening day of our APD season at Northwood Elementary is in the books. 104 NES dads plus kids, 17 years strong, and one word: Honesty.

This month's theme was Honesty, and the conversations at the tables were the real win — kids and dads talking through what it means to tell the truth even when it's hard, and why trust is built one small moment at a time. Those 30 minutes before the bell hit different.

We also launched something brand new this year: the Morning Motivator — one Friday a month, our APD dads will be out front greeting students in carpool as they arrive with music, high-fives, and energy to start the day right. If you missed the QR code today, click the link to sign up. 🎶🙌

Big thanks to every dad who showed up, to our NES staff, and to our PTA volunteers who made breakfast and check-in run smooth. Same energy next month — bring a friend. 💙⭐
