Mary answered the call. It was about a week ago when Mary came in to drop off amazing donations when the conversation changed and went serious. She wanted to know how she could truly make a difference in this moment in time at the township. The answer was snacks. The reality many overlook is that countless students depend on school for their daily meals. What happens when they go home? Or on the weekend? Some families may have SNAP but full meals will always be the priority. Life happens. Circumstances and situations are real. Then we have people like Mary that show up ready to help. For those of you that answer the call. How do you we make you understand that we are truly so grateful for each and everyone of you? The words will never be enough. Thank you.

People have messaged the township regarding tossing pills down the drain.
When medications are washed down the drain, they can enter our waterways and potentially harm fish, wildlife, and the environment. Wastewater treatment systems are not designed to remove every medication ingredient. It's important that we use our resources wisely. If you have old medication, unwanted, unused.. why not take a few minutes of your day this Saturday and drop them off at Avon Township. Saturday, October 24th from 10 am to 2 pm, we will be here ready to collect old medications, no questions asked!
