Those forgotten medications could pose a risk to children, family members, or anyone who gets their hands on them.

The Rowlett Police Department is making it easy to dispose of unwanted medications safely during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day!

NEWS RELEASE | Arrest Made in Caribbean Drive Aggravated Robbery

The Rowlett Police Department has arrested an 18-year-old suspect in connection with an aggravated robbery that occurred September 30, 2026, in the 7400 block of Caribbean Drive.

The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to identify additional individuals involved.

📊 Our September 2026 Monthly Activity Snapshot includes calls for service, completed crash reports, traffic enforcement, arrests, reported crime, and proactive patrols.

👻 🎃 October Safety Tip: Keep the Scares in the Decorations!

Little ghosts, goblins, and pumpkins will soon be making their rounds! Drivers, slow down in neighborhoods, put away distractions, and watch for children crossing between parked cars. Families, use sidewalks and crosswalks, carry flashlights or glow sticks, and make sure costumes allow children to see clearly and be seen.

Let’s make Halloween full of treats and safe streets!
