October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our officers are authorized to wear pink patches through the end of the month as part of the Massachusetts Pink Patch Project, which helps raise awareness and supports breast cancer research and treatment.

Breast cancer affects a lot of families here in Rowley and beyond. This is one way we can show our support and increase education.

Students head back to school on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 and you'll notice an increase in traffic enforcement around the school zone.

Please drive carefully, put down your cellphone, and keep your focus on the road. Safety is our goal.

Officers will also periodically follow school buses to make sure motorists are stopping for them as required.

The Rowley Fire Department would like to extend an invite to our community for our annual 9/11 ceremony. The ceremony will take place at the 9/11 Memorial.

Date: Friday, 9/11/2026
Time: 08:30
Location: 9/11 Memorial (Corner of Pleasant St. and Cross St.)

“Remember the hours after September 11th when we came together as one to answer the attack against our homeland. We drew strength when our firefighters ran up stairs and risked their lives so that others might live; when rescuers rushed into smoke and fire at the Pentagon; when the men and women of Flight 93 sacrificed themselves to save our nation’s Capitol; when flags were hanging from front porches all across America, and strangers became friends. It was the worst day we have ever seen, but it brought out the best in all of us.” – Former Secretary of State John Kerry
