Last night's Roy's City Hall Haunted House/Trunk-or-treat was a massive success! It was one of those "You had to be there" events! Such an awesome community party!.

The City would like to give a special thanks to B&C Motorsports for bringing in a literal truck full of cereal for our friends at Roy Elementary! Along with thier donation, and the amazing community members who dropped off so many more (every box helps!), we had to make two delivery trips this week!

We encourage everyone to keep those boxes of cereal coming, and if you're joining us for our Halloween 'Not-So-Scary" House this Saturday, we would love for you to bring a box of cereal AND...
a book for give-and-take amazing Marcus's Little Library that will be open and celebrating with us! Nothing beats donating, candy, and new book!

There is NO cost for this event.

The City of Roy, alongside R.L. Alia construction, WSDOT, and Skillings LLC, have finalized the building of a push-button light Crosswalk for our Roy Elementary students directly in front of the Shell gas station (4th St and McNaught Rd (SR 507)). As the work is being conducted from 19 November thru 29 November, the road will be at times reduced to one lane. We apologize for any delays that this may cause, but we're excited to best serve the community's safety needs in caring for our students!

Due to an internet outage, the City will be unable to process credit card payments until the internet returns. Current estimated time on PSE states 5pm. We can take cash payments, and assist with processing payments through your phone, if needed.

The City of Roy is in the cereal donation business, and let me tell you, business is BOOMING!
Thanks to so many amazing community members, including
John L. Scott Real Estate Yelm / Bill Sauneuf who gave over 20 boxes, and Amber Ballew- Country Financial who donated a cart full of king-sized boxes, we'll be making another delivery to our Roy Elementary friends!

Every box helps our littlest community members!

After long standing Military service, the 555 Engineers cased their colors today, essentially closing their unit here in JBLM. The remaining Soldiers will be assigned to others units within JBLM and throughout the world. As a municipal and community, we couldn't be more proud of our partnership, and are thankful for the countless memories our freinds gave us! We're so proud of our Military cohort!

With that, we look forward to connecting and building a partnership with the next unit! More information on that was we speak with JBLM in the coming months.

Thank you, 555 Engineer Brigade HQ, JBLM for all you've done, not only for our City, but for this great nation!

10 days away!

The City is getting ready for the best Roy Halloween ever!

This Oct 31st, you're invited to our Not-So Scary House, then a monsterous horde of Trunk-or-Treating cars, Marcus's Little Library book exchange, followed by a hangout at the Community Center.

Come by at 6:30 and enjoy the festivities...all totally free! We would greatly appreciate a box of cereal donation for Roy Elementary. We have delivered 26 boxes and are aiming for many more!
