Most Noble House of Ed

While not a part of the United States, the Republic of Ed keeps its eye on their politics. We may, or may not, issue an endorsement for candidates for office, once we figure out who they all are.

The Most Noble House of Ed has agreed to except the request of the Republic of Ed to serve as its royal family in perpetuity. The senior member of the House will serve as Philosopher King with plenipotentiary powers.

Plans are being made for a State Visit by the Sovereign and the Crown Prince to the United Kingdom this summer. At this time, it is unclear whether the delegation will be able to make time to visit with UK elected officials or the Queen.

This week saw the celebration of the sovereign's birthday, a national holiday and day of respect. The sovereign enjoyed a respite from state duties, sampling beverages from our sister nation, Scotland.

The embassy will be holding a celebratory event on October 29, including a viewing of the American Football match between the sides representing the largest unis in the American State of Michigan.

Whilst we have no direct stake in the referendum today, we strongly suggest that those who do exercise their opportunity to decide.

MNHE announced today that it has joined with the international community to limit the use of conflict minerals within its sovereign territory. All precious gems and minerals entering through customs will be impounded until such time as it can be established that they have not come from conflict areas.
