I've lived in Royal Oak since 1990, served on the city commission since 2013 and the planning commission since 2005. I'm a​ ​life​ ​member​ ​and​ ​active​ ​volunteer​ ​at Stagecrafters​ ​and​ ​represent the​ ​city​ ​commission​ ​on​ ​the​ ​boards​ ​of​ ​Royal​ ​Oak​ ​Youth​ ​Assistance and​ ​the​ ​ROOTS​ ​Foundation.​ ​I am a​ ​public​ ​relations​ ​consultant,​ ​writer​ ​and​ ​speaker​ ​with​ ​a background​ ​managing​ ​community​ ​development​ ​organizations.​ I live with my husband, his mom and our rescue Cockapoo in a house that will celebrate its centennial in 2018.
