Plot twist: The scariest thing at The Pines yesterday wasn't the Halloween costumes… it was realizing how much fun our faculty and staff have when they're allowed to dress up. We teach, we inspire, we occasionally scare each other in the hallways… and we take Halloween VERY seriously.
Happy Halloween from Western Pines! We hope everyone has a frightfully fun evening filled with treats, laughter, and plenty of Halloween memories. Have fun, stay safe, and enjoy every moment!

TWINNING FOR A GREAT CAUSE! We wrapped up Red Ribbon Week in TWICE the style today. Our Trailblazers teamed up with their friends, matched their outfits, and showed us that great minds really do think alike. All week long, we've celebrated making healthy choices, believing in ourselves, setting goals, and choosing a bright future. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated and helped make Red Ribbon Week a success! Remember, Trailblazers, the choices you make today help shape the future you create tomorrow. Stay strong. Make smart choices. Set your path!

Our 6th graders are taking on the world of badminton in PE, and let's just say… there's a LOT of swinging, a little bit of chasing, and plenty of shuttlecocks flying in every direction. They're learning the rules, mastering their swings, and discovering that keeping that little birdie in the air is harder than it looks. However, as always, our Trailblazers are definitely bringing their A game to PE.

Week after week, our students continue to raise the bar and show us what it truly means to be a Trailblazer! You don't need a map when you have leaders like these paving the way. We couldn't be prouder of the grit, determination, and leadership our students demonstrate as they continue to step up and make their mark.
Meet the current Trailblazers setting the pace and leading the way across each grade level:
