🌧️ NOR’EASTER SAFETY REMINDER — STAY SAFE, STAY HOME 🌧️

With the nor’easter bringing heavy rain, strong winds, and the potential for flooding, we are asking everyone to please stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel until conditions improve.

Please remember:

• 🏠 Stay home unless travel is absolutely necessary.
• 🚗 Never drive around barricades/emergency vehicles or through flooded roadways.
• 🌊 Turn around if you encounter standing or moving water on the roadway.
• 🌳 Be alert for downed trees, branches and power lines.
• 📱 Keep your phone charged and monitor local weather and emergency alerts.
• 🚨 If you see a dangerous condition, report it to the appropriate authorities and stay back.

Our officers, public works crews, and emergency personnel are out responding as needed. Please help us keep everyone safe by staying off the roads and giving emergency crews room to work.

When the roads are flooded, the safest route is the one that keeps you home.

Stay safe, stay dry, and look out for your neighbors. 🌧️👮‍♂️
