🏃‍♂️ Minidoka Dam Run – Thursday, September 3rd at Lake Walcott State Park! 🏃‍♀️

Update: Buses start arriving at 2:00 p.m. Races start at 4:00 p.m.
An Idaho State Parks Passport or Annual Pass waives the Motor Vehicle Entrance Fee.

Join us at Lake Walcott State Park for the annual Minidoka Dam Run! Runners will be out on the park roads and trails, so please be mindful and give them the right-of-way. The disc golf course will be closed to play during the race.

⚠️ Important Event Details:
$7 Motor Vehicle Entrance Fee required for all vehicles
Arrive early to allow plenty of time before the run begins
🚗 Parking is ONLY allowed in designated lots – no parking on roads or grass

Come cheer on the runners and enjoy a beautiful day at the park!

Sun, shade, and sparkling water! ☀️🌊
But there’s a catch—we only have a beach when the water is low! 😎 When the reservoir drops, our sandy shoreline makes the perfect spot to soak up some sunshine, relax in the shade, and enjoy the water.

Water levels at Lake Walcott are beginning to drop for the season. The boat ramp handling docks and kayak launch docks are currently still in place. Please check before launching and loading equipment. Use caution around the shoreline and boat ramps.
