Fire Safety Training at Bruss North America

The Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department (RSVFD) had a great time providing fire safety and hands-on fire extinguisher training for employees at Bruss North America!

During the training, employees had the opportunity to learn about fire safety, proper fire extinguisher use, and even put their skills to the test by extinguishing a controlled fire.

We had an amazing time working with such a wonderful group of people! The employees at Bruss were enthusiastic, engaged, and eager to learn.

A special thank you to Bruss North America and all of its employees for inviting us out and allowing us to share this valuable training experience with you.

At RSVFD, we believe fire prevention and education are just as important as responding to emergencies. We’re always proud to work with our local businesses to help keep our community safe!

Thank you again, Bruss North America, for a fun and rewarding day!

Before serving with the Kentucky State Police, Trooper Phillips served our community as a Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department firefighter, a Russell Springs Police Officer, and a Russell County EMT.

We invite the community to join us as we honor his service and sacrifice and keep his family, friends, and fellow first responders in our thoughts.

Russell County’s first responders were honored tonight during the Mighty Laker football game, and the Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department was proud to be part of the pregame festivities.

It was an honor to stand alongside fellow first responders from across our community and be recognized for the work they do each day.

RSVFD would like to thank the Russell County community and its citizens for the continued support you show our first responders. Your encouragement and appreciation mean a great deal to all of us.

Thank you to Russell County Schools and the Mighty Lakers for including our first responders in tonight’s special recognition.

On September 10, the Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department and Russell County EMS had the honor of visiting Russell County Head Start.

The children enjoyed meeting our first responders, looking at the emergency vehicles, and learning about the equipment we use. It is always special to spend time with the children and help them understand a little more about what firefighters and EMS personnel do for our community. Seeing the excitement on their faces makes it all worthwhile.

Thank you to Russell County Head Start for inviting us. We truly enjoyed the visit!
