No tricks, all treats! 🎃

Every Wednesday, the staff at the Methodist Children’s Home of Ruston come together for a time of devotion, prayer, and weekly updates. Last week, we kicked off the new month with a little extra fun—candy, booths, and festive costumes!🍬

While we’re making memories and having fun together, we’re also strengthening our teamwork and growing together as a staff. By working seamlessly as a team, we can better support one another and, most importantly, be better for the children in our care. 💛

Birthdays just got a whole lot sweeter around here! 🎂

The kids at the Methodist Children's Home of Southwest Louisiana are in for an amazing treat. We received a complete 15-month supply from Lydia Methodist Church of everything needed to throw an epic birthday party, ensuring every single child is fully celebrated month after month.

From decorations to the little details that make a big day special, this generous donation covers it all. Thank you for going above and beyond to make sure our kids feel loved, remembered, and celebrated all year long! 🎉🎈

It may only be October, but our mind is on Christmas!🎄

Our team is excited to be apart of Scarecrows in the Garden at the Biedenharn Coca-Cola Museum in Monroe this week! We love getting to tell the public all about Christmas on the Farm coming up on December 5th.💚 Come by and check out our spook-tactular booth!👻

We're on the Road to Success!🚗

Our Staff Development team has been traveling the state to share our mission with the next generation! From North Louisiana at the Louisiana Tech University Career Fair to the McNeese State University Career Expo in the southwest, our team has been sharing the heart of Methodist Children’s Home, our mission, and the difference we make every day.

A special shout-out to Louisiana Tech University and McNeese State University for hosting us and giving us the opportunity to connect with students. And a big thank-you to Dr. Wroten, Department Head at McNeese, for helping make our visit possible!

In Honor of Dolly📚💗

In the spirit of Dolly Parton's love of learning, our friends at St. Andrew's UMC Baton Rouge hosted a book drive for the children at Methodist Children's Home of Southeast Louisiana, as well as donated over 50 suitcases!

We are so grateful to our supporters who meet needs across our campuses so our kids can grow and thrive.
