We had a spooktacular time tonight!

A very special thank you to New England Spirit chasers for sharing their passion for haunted places with us. This whole program and investigation was done free of charge and our Acting Director Tricia Lowe donated her time so they could conduct the investigation inside the library after hours.

We thank everyone for coming witnessing evidence and bringing their curiosity tonight!

Till next time….because there will be an another investigation!

Someone lost a friend in the parking lot! Not to worry they have been keeping us company in the library and even helped us with checking in books, shelve, feed the fish. Then took some time to read up on relatives and conservation. They are now resting comfortably behind the circulation waiting to be picked up by their humans!

What happens when the library is closed? Who takes care of the little guy?! Don’t worry the Acting Director comes with her boys to let him wander and make sure he’s got everything he needs.

What about bad weather? Not to worry he has a vacation home at her house and will be moved there during storms to bunker down and supervise snow day activities.

Stay tuned next week we begin his naming contest! So far name suggestions are: Nobert (hagrids dragon), Shel (Shel Silverstein), Gimli (Dwarf from Lord of the Rings), Vlad (Dracula)

Ever wonder what happens when the lights go down and the ghost-hunting equipment comes out?

Join us Thursday, October 15th from 6:00–8:00 PM for a Paranormal Presentation with East Coast Spirit Chasers NE!

They’ll be sharing stories, photos, evidence, and experiences from two investigations—including an investigation right here at the Rutland Public Library and another at the famously haunted S.K. Pierce Mansion!

Come hear what they found, what they experienced, and maybe decide for yourself…

Is the library really haunted? 📚👀
