I have received several calls from concerned citizens and we appreciate it. All the smoke in liberty county is coming from a swap fire in Anahuac. If you have COPD or a hard time breathing please stay indoors, the smoke is really thick and will take your breath away. If you do see a fire with flames call 911 then call one of the members of you local fire department. Thanks everyone for your continued support and God bless.

Ok ladies and gentleman, we had some rain a few days ago, but it wasn't enough to really do anything, everything is still dry. If weather continues like it is we will be under a burn ban before long. So please until then, please don't leave your fires unattended and make sure you have a water hose close by. Thanks everyone.
