Always learning with the Youth Leadership Academy! A huge thank you to Shiloh L. Castello, Partnerships Manager for Sustainable Communities at SMUD, and Monica Hernandez, Deputy Director of Communications at the California Department of Housing and Community Development, for teaching the YLA students about future planning and the history of redlining. Students were also given a chance to ask current college students about their experience with college applications. As always, Saturdays are for YLA! ♥️
