The Caltrans Honor Guard will perform at the 35th annual Caltrans Workers Memorial, to help commemorate the 194 men and women who have died on Caltrans duty since 1921. The event begins at 11 a.m. and will include a tribute to the fallen workers, a rededication to statewide transportation safety, and a memorial cone ceremony. Please join us at River Walk Park in West Sacramento to honor those who have given their lives in service to the people of California.

During storms, road litter & other pollutants on flow untreated into waterways via storm drains. Another reason why Caltrans cleanup work is critical, like recently along CA-101 at Brisco Road in Arroyo Grande. Zero Litter & Zero pollution is the goal.

Climate Action Plan for Transportation Infrastructure (CAPTI) | CalSTA 04/12/2024

📣 CalSTA is holding 4️⃣ listening sessions to provide input on new action ideas to implement the Climate Action Plan for Transportation Infrastructure (CAPTI) framework. As announced at the time of our second annual report on CAPTI implementation, CalSTA is committing to a public process to accelerate progress in meeting the state’s ambitious targets to greenhouse gas emissions. This will be the first update to CAPTI actions since CalSTA adopted the plan in July 2021!

CalSTA will be holding the listening sessions (three in-person options in different areas of the state + one virtual session) the last week of April:
