Reflecting on today’s tragedy…this is not normal and as long as God is my witness, it will never be normal. As has once and always will be said, crazy doesn’t have a political ideology but it does have blame. For those celebrating, keep smiling and laughing until misfortune arrives at your door. For those who are hurting, please find comfort in Charlie’s words and message.

We, free thinking freedom loving individuals, will not be silenced. We won’t be cowed. We won’t be arrived. We won’t back down.

We will mourn. We will heal. We will grow. We will win. For Charlie.

Democrats kill a GOP effort to make Pride Month nonpartisan. No class | Opinion

It’s that time of year again! We are kicking off our 2nd annual school supply drive!

Here are some commonly requested items:

Pens, pencils, ruled/lined paper, graph paper folders, binders, crayons, back-packs, glue sticks, tape, calculators, scissors, kleenex/ tissues, hand sanitzer, ziplock bags, cleaning wipes, notebooks, pencil boxes, pencil sharpeners, highlighters, markers, wired earbuds or headsets, dry erase markers, rulers/ protractors, copy/printer paper, small snack/ food goods (granola bars, crackers, etc.)

We will be collecting donations during the entire month of july and will be distributing the supplies before the kick off to the 2025-2026 school year!

Donations can be picked up by volunteers or a drop-off location can be coordinated

Same-sex marriage equality has been the law of the land for 10 years today! “They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law,” Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote, in the Obergefell v. Hodges majority opinion. “The Constitution grants them that right.”

LCR Sacramento had a fabulous time at 2025 in Roseville! This was our second year participating and we are so happy that this is our first Pride event of the season.

We had some very great conversations and worked to build bridges rather than fences and promoted the message that we can disagree and still be friends - our VP even wore it on his shirt!
