The Cemetery and Funeral Bureau has a continuous open exam for the Field Representative. The next cut off for scoring is January 16, 2024. Possession of a valid California Embalmer's License, and two years of experience as a licensed embalmer or funeral director in the State of California are the minimum requirements. Below is the link:

ATTENTION
Senate Bill (SB) 887 as it relates to the Bureau has amended Business and Professions Code (BPC) section 7685.3.
Effective January 1, 2024, BPC section 7685.3 has been amended to add language to include “hydrolysis” in the required contact information statement on the first page of any contract for goods and services offered by a licensee.
