An estimated 180,000 people attended the Aftershock Festival this weekend! The lineup was amazing this year, including two local bands Dance Gavin Dance and Oleander to rep Sacramento. ✨

Despite the heat, the event brought fans from all 50 states and 30 different countries, along with a $40 million dollar economic impact, to Sacramento. 🌲

Applications for the City of Sacramento's Foster Youth Guaranteed Income Program will be accepted October 1-31. Eligible current and former foster youth living in Sacramento County may receive $900 per month for up to two years. Participants will be selected by lottery, and applicants are encouraged to begin the process early.
