In an effort to provide a safe environment, members of the public will be require to wear a mask at all times while in the building, including while attending oral argument. Those presenting argument may remove their mask when speaking at the lectern. To provide social distancing in the courtroom, occupancy will be limited.

Beginning with oral argument in June 2022, the Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District, will conduct oral argument in-person at the Stanley Mosk Library and Courts Building, 914 Capitol Mall, Sacramento, California 95814. Those participating in oral argument who do not wish to appear in-person may file an application to appear telephonically. Telephonic oral argument will be granted only upon a showing of exceptional good cause.

Attached is the court calendar for the month of May, which is subject to change without notice. Included with this post are instructions to access the public video conference to participate as a 'listen only' member. Oral argument will be conducted by video conference using the BlueJeans Events application. Those participating in oral argument will receive a specific emailed invitation to the appropriate session of oral argument. Members of the public can view oral argument by clicking on the link provided in the Attendee Invite File which has been posted below or can be found on the Court’s Calendar page.
