Atkinson Youth Services School

Another one in the books! Yes indeed, yep more graduates go down in the history books of Atkinson Youth Services School, congratulations, Cheng and Elijah! Another beautiful success story of triumph and pure joy. Thank you to everyone for your support for these two young men and to everyone who came out to celebrate with us today.

Today we say goodbye to one of our very special teachers, Ms. Carman. Ms. Carman has been a teacher at AYS for five years working primarily with 4th through 6th graders. Thank you for your years of service, we will miss you. Good luck in all your future endeavors!

Today is the last day of summer school, we have had a lot of fun! Fall term for the 2013-2014 school year starts on Monday, August 19th.......see you all then.

We are winding down to the final days of summer school. Our elective courses have been a huge success with guitar learning to play four songs, sewing making their final project (duffel bags), beginning Spanish conversations, and a beautiful tile mural created by the art class.
