Officials: 'Amityville Horror' killer Ronald DeFeo Jr. dies in state custody DeFeo Jr., who shot and killed his mother, father, two sisters and two brothers inside their Amityville home in 1974, a case that inspired the book and movie versions of "The Amityville Horror," has died while serving a 25 years-to-life-sentence for the murders, officials said.

Hey all,
Here's a WTF!
SO.. Its common knowledge that our house is haunted. Its also NOW its common knowledge that the original owner was murdered in our house.
Yesterday was just crazy and im still wrapping my head around it. So a lady was driving around our house a few times. Her and her friend stopped and parked . the lady got out and was walking around, i asked her if i could help her because she was looking at our house up and down. She intruduced herself and said her aunt Jenie used to live here and she was the original owner..i knew of her aunt. I told her that the house is haunted but nothing crazy. I discribed her aunt. The lady then got a wierd look on her face and said, its not the first time she heard that. She said and discribed the happenings in the house prior. They matched what was going on Before from other people who lived here. She also asked if i knew about how her aunt died. I said yes and said i was told the neighbor next door murdered her by poisoning. The lady said...no, the neighbor in 1977 came through the BACK DOOR and shot her 2 times in her head as she was sleeping. The suspect pleaded out. Unknown if still alive or in prison. I asked her where her aunts bedroom was located in the home , the house was remodeled sometime back. But 2 rooms were never changed. She said her room is on the right from the kitchen...well thats our room now.
This crazy story is going to be just the beginning. Im still like in awe. 1 i totally described her aunt. I never met this lady before.
So now what to do next. If she was sleeping and got shot and killed , this. Could be why Jenie is still in the home. I think though she really isnt a problem..time to move on..
