After more than 90 hours of classroom instruction and hands-on training, these dedicated Sacramento CERT members have earned their Emergency Medical Responder certification, gaining advanced skills in CPR, trauma care, patient assessment, and emergency medical response.

Today, Sacramento Fire Chief Chris Costamagna recognized several members of the Sacramento Fire Department who are celebrating 25 years of service to our community. Each honoree received a certificate and an engraved watch in recognition of their dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to serving the people of Sacramento.
Twenty-five years of service is an incredible milestone. It represents decades of commitment, hard work, teamwork, and dedication to supporting the Sacramento community. From emergency response to the vital work happening behind the scenes, each of these individuals has played an important role in helping serve and protect our city.
