Congratulations to our Natomas Charter School - PFAA Vocal Ensemble students have won multiple categories of this year's DownBeat Magazine Student Music Awards. Established in 1976, the DownBeat SMAs are considered the most prestigious awards in jazz education, and our students' recognition in this field is a remarkable achievement worth celebrating. This would not be possible without the incredible support of our entire academic and arts teams both inside and outside of the classroom, families, and students. Thank you for your ongoing support for all of our students and these amazing vocalists!

This week marks Educator Appreciation Week at Natomas Charter School. We are exceptionaly fortunate to have so many dedicated and hardworking educators at our school.

Educators come with many different job titles from teacher and administrator to counselor, paraprofessional, and campus monitor. Whether an email, handwritten note, or in-person thank you we hope you will take some time this week to share your appreciation with your child's educators.

Last night’s NCS Multicultural Festival was a OUTSTANDING success! Thank you to everyone who joined us. We share our deepest appreciation with the families, community members, students, and staff members from across all five academies who make this such a special event every single year.

It’s World Fair Day at Natomas Charter School - PFAA where 7th grade students shared their knowledge of 14 different civilizations and the 6th graders toured the world, engaging in activities and getting their passports stamped during this journey through time and geography.

We love having guest speakers in all of our classes! Shout out to River City Rowing Club who met with our Natomas Charter School - PFAA students to talk about the amazing rowing opportunities in the Sacramento region.
