CA Assembly: Californians from across the state are calling on you to . 💯
Real people are being impacted. Immigrants, disabled people, elders, families, and communities across California are asking for access to basic, life-saving health care, not dangerous cuts that push care further out of reach.
Yesterday, LCHC joined CPEHN and the coalition on a statewide bus tour to engage with YOUR constituents, hear their stories, and show up alongside community members demanding action.
, join the Senate in calling on Governor Newsom to delay and stop these harmful proposals. California must not balance the budget on the backs of immigrants, disabled people, elders, and working families.
Our communities deserve care, dignity, and protection.

Leave machismo at the door, it’s Pride Month! 🌈✨This month and every month, we celebrate our entire LGBTQ2S+ community.
We also uplift the q***r and trans advocates, organizers, promotoras, leaders, and community members working every day to make sure our communities have the information and resources they need to make informed health decisions for themselves and their loved ones.
Pride is resistance. Pride is community. Pride is power.

Thank you to Senator Monique Limón and Senate leaders for standing with immigrant communities and fighting to delay harmful Medi-Cal freezes.
Now, the Assembly must act. California cannot balance its budget on the backs of immigrant families or stay silent while communities risk losing life-saving care. As budget negotiations continue, we urge Assembly leaders to join the Senate in advancing real solutions to protect Medi-Cal access and stop the freeze.
California should lead on health equity, not retreat from its promises.
