The next round of funding from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, and National Institute of Mental Health to support the continued development of new and innovative on-demand, event-driven, and long-acting multipurpose prevention technologies (MPTs) is now open.
Funding will support the development of MPTs that prevent HIV infection and pregnancy (hormonal and non-hormonal methods); sexually transmitted infections (STI) and pregnancy; or multiple non-HIV STI or HIV/STI MPTs in cis and trans males and females of all ages. The database includes MPTs that are currently funded and in active development as of August 2024. You can also find tables for MPT products in development by delivery method - including films, implants, oral pills and more β as well as by indication combination. You can also explore MPT products no longer in active development.
