Thank you ARC and UNITE! I had an amazing experience working there over the last 12 years. I have been blessed and honored to work with so many great people, especially our students. The UNITE program hosted many events and it was only possible with a great team of students, staff, and admins. Now as I leave this space to take on a new challenge, I look forward to what the Hub, now known as the UNITE Center will become. Please visit the UNITE Center to see all the new and exciting programs and meet the amazing crew! Thank you again ARC & UNITE!!!

As Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month comes to a close with the end of May, let's remember that Anti-Asian racism and Anti-Blackness both come from White Supremacy and Capitalist Heteropatriarchy. All the Anti-Asian racism and Anti-Blackness violence can be overwhelming. But remember to stay grounded and rooted in the fact that there are people who have been and continue to actively work against violent structures. This is an image of Richard Aoki of the Asian American Political Alliance, Charles Brown of the Afro-American Student Union, and Manual Delgado of the Mexican American Student Confederation (not depicted is LaNada Warjack, the head of the United Native Americans) - some of the leaders of the Third World Liberation Front who sought to bring together the histories and cultures of Asian Americans, Chicano Americans, African Americans, and Native Americans in a united front to fight for Third World Studies. These student leaders showed us the power we have when we UNITE and modeled for us how we can coalesce into a formidable power against White Supremacy when we organize and advocate together!
