CalABLE is happy to stand alongside the disability community at the California Disability Leadership Alliance (CDLA) Day of Action at the Capitol.

Empowering voices, protecting rights, and celebrating disability pride is at the heart of why we show up. Together, we push for a California where accessibility, inclusion, and opportunity are non‑negotiable.

The Asian Pacific State Employees Association (APSEA) and our sponsoring partner, The Department of Rehabilitation (DOR), are proud to host the 2026 State of Belonging: Workforce Equity Symposium, taking place May 6–7, 2026, at the May Lee State Office Complex Auditorium in Sacramento. This year’s theme, “50 Years Forward: Advancing Equity, Empowering Change,” reflects a continued commitment to strengthening California’s public workforce and supporting effective leadership across state service.

The symposium will feature a dynamic lineup of sessions designed to address real challenges facing today’s state workforce, including:

Expert keynote speakers and statewide leaders sharing insights on workforce trends, leadership, and organizational change
Interactive workshops on topics such as workplace investigations, conflict transformation, inclusive onboarding, and mental health in the workplace
Featured panel on Health Equity, bringing together leaders to explore how policy, leadership, and workforce practices can advance equitable outcomes for the communities we serve
Skill-building sessions focused on communication, bystander intervention, and navigating complex workplace dynamics

Early Bird registration is open until APRIL 15TH. After that prices go up to $100 for APSEA members, $350 for individuals, and $1,350 for groups of 4. The 15% discount for groups of 5 or more still applies.
