Twenty-five years later, we still carry the memory of September 11 in our hearts.

We remember every life lost, every family left behind, every first responder who made the ultimate sacrifice, and every person whose life was forever changed that day.

May we continue to tell their stories, speak their names, honor their courage, and hold close the reminder that behind every number was a life deeply loved.

Going Above & Beyond 🧡🚑💙

A few weeks ago, an unexpected emergency brought a community member to AlphaOne Headquarters seeking help for her son.

As Moses Park, a current AlphaOne Biller and former field EMT, was getting into his car to leave for the day, he noticed the community member waiting at the front door for assistance and immediately recognized her distress. Without hesitation, Moses stopped to help and connected with Ashley Gamboa, one of our Dispatch Leads, who jumped into action to gather the information needed to safely dispatch resources to the family's home.

The responding crew, EMT Taye Phu and EMT Caleb Calderon, were instrumental in assessing the patient, providing care, and safely transporting the family member to the Emergency Department.

Moses and Ashley rose to the challenge, while Taye and Caleb carried that same level of care into the field. Together, the team made sure this family received the help they needed — earning Moses and Ashley an AlphaOne Challenge Coin in recognition of their willingness to go above and beyond.

And the story didn't end there. The community member later returned to AlphaOne with a thank-you card, expressing her heartfelt gratitude for the help her family received.

Moments like these remind us that what we do truly matters.

Future EMS providers in training! 🚑✨

From curious questions to wide-eyed smiles, Monday was one for the books!

Our AlphaOne crew had so much fun visiting Tay’s Tiny Tots Daycare and giving the kids a hands-on look inside one of our ambulances. They explored the equipment our crews use every day, learned a little about emergency medical services, and asked some pretty great questions along the way!

Moments like these remind us that inspiring the next generation starts with simple experiences and big imaginations. 💙🧡

A huge thank you to Tay’s Tiny Tots for welcoming us—we loved sharing what we do, and who knows... we may have just met a few future EMTs and paramedics! ⭐️

✨Curiosity is the first step toward making a difference! ✨

We were so excited to welcome The Gift of Kids Daycare to AlphaOne last week for a fun, hands-on summer day of learning!

As summer break begins to wind down and a new school year is just around the corner, we couldn’t think of a better way to wrap up the season than by exploring, asking questions, and discovering something new together.

These little scholars explored one of our ambulances, discovered the lifesaving equipment our crews use every day, learned basic first aid, and even got the chance to interact with some of the tools that help us care for our community. Their excitement, thoughtful questions, and eagerness to learn made the day one to remember.

A special thank you to The Gift of Kids Daycare counselors for bringing this wonderful group to spend the day with us. We hope each child left with a little more knowledge, a lot of fun memories, and the confidence to keep asking questions, learning new things, and dreaming big as they head into the new school year.

To become independent operators of advanced life-saving equipment, it takes hours of hands-on practice, repetition, and real-world application.

As we head into National Nurses Week, we’re proud to support the continued education and clinical excellence of our team. This training brought together our entire Specialty Care Team—all working together to strengthen the level of care we provide.
