Tomorrow could change how you protect yourself and those you love. 💜

The Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center is hosting two critical safety workshops at the REDA Center, Friday, October 23, 2026.

These sessions are designed specifically for women in our community who want to understand family safety warning signs, learn about available support services, and know exactly how to take action when it matters most. ✨

What you'll learn:
🛡️ How to recognize high-risk situations before they escalate
📋 Understand the restraining order process
⚠️ Identify strangulation warning signs that could save a life

These workshops provide practical knowledge about family safety awareness, safety services, and prevention strategies that you can use right away.

💻 Your family deserves the tools to thrive in today's digital world, and it starts October 28.

REDA is partnering with Genesis Community Foundation to offer a completely free 4-week Digital Literacy course.

📚 Whether you're building essential computer skills, helping your kids with homework, or preparing for new job opportunities, this program is designed for you.

✨ We provide the computers during class, and our instructor will help your family apply for a free laptop to take home.

📅 Classes are held at our REDA office at 3425 Arden Way on October 28, November 4, November 12, and November 18.

🌍 Dari and Arabic speakers are welcome at all English levels, translation is available.

🎓 After just four weeks, you'll walk away with a certificate of completion and the confidence to navigate the digital world with ease.

What happens when a community comes together for health? 🌟 Over 250 neighbors showed up.

Last weekend's Fall Healthy Family Resource Fair brought our community together in ways that matter.

💉 Blood sugar screenings
🦷 Dental health education
🤝 Resources that make a real difference

Partners like Sacramento County Behavioral Health Services and Northstate University set up stations throughout the event, and the response was incredible. Jeeroz Mediterranean food truck even sold out completely. 🎉

✨ The impact went beyond the day itself

Our case managers connected with 16 people who signed up for emergency planning support, and health screenings identified an urgent need for one client who's now getting the care they need.

These moments remind us why we do this work, because access to health resources shouldn't be complicated, and everyone deserves support when they need it most. ❤️
