When Samantha’s youngest son, who has autism, joined a Head Start classroom, his communication took off. After more than a year of one-on-one speech therapy, learning alongside other kids made all the difference.

Head Start has been part of both of her boys’ journeys. Her oldest walked into kindergarten confident and ready, and her youngest has grown in his speech, behavior, and friendships. As a single mom working full-time, Samantha also found the time and peace of mind to earn her master’s degree. 💙
