The Sacramento Latino Democratic Club is “boots on the ground “ for Eric Guerra as our endorsed candidate.
The Sacramento Latino Democratic Club (LDC) vehemently condemns the racially-motivated vandalism that took place in Natomas where several roadside campaign signs were vandalized and defaced with demeaning racial slurs aimed at City Council candidate Jenn Chawla’s ethnic origin.
Deplorable acts of racism must be condemned, and we call upon all candidates in this race and sitting city council members to do so.
As a heterogenous and multi-cultural community that embraces and celebrates diversity, we cannot afford to discount any such acts of racism as isolated without any impact or effect on the greater community. We must condemn such hate crimes and hold those criminals accountable. We cannot afford to remain silent and condone it.
We must unite and fight against it.
