✨ Happy Pride Month from the API Caucus! ✨
This month, we proudly celebrate LGBTQ+ communities whose stories, cultures, and leadership strengthen our movement every day.
The intersection of API and LGBTQ+ identities deserves visibility, representation, and support. Pride is about embracing every part of who we are while building communities rooted in inclusion, safety, and belonging for all. 🏳️🌈
We honor the advocates, artists, organizers, and trailblazers creating space for future generations to live openly and proudly.

Today on Asian & Pacific Islander HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, we stand in support of API communities affected by HIV and AIDS.
We honor advocates, healthcare workers, educators, and those living with HIV who continue to fight stigma, expand access to care, and uplift their communities through awareness and compassion. ❤️

Today marks the anniversary of the 1983 killing of Vietnamese student Thong Hy Huynh in Davis, California. His death was a tragic act of racial violence that underscored the real and deadly consequences of bullying, discrimination, and anti-Asian hate. Thong was just 17 years old.
We remember Thong Hy Huynh and honor his life by recommitting to safer schools, stronger communities, and a future where no young person is targeted because of who they are. We must continue to stand against anti-Asian racism and ensure that every student is treated with dignity and respect.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, we uplift the importance of breaking stigma in Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Cultural barriers and silence can make it harder to seek help, but support and healing are possible when we speak openly and stand together 💚

Earth Day is a reminder that environmental justice and community care go hand in hand. Across Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, many of our cultures are rooted in deep respect for the land, water, and shared resources that sustain us. Today, we honor those traditions while also recognizing the ongoing impact of climate change on our communities, especially those most vulnerable.
From rising sea levels affecting Pacific Island nations to air and water pollution in underserved neighborhoods, the fight for a healthier planet is also a fight for equity and justice. We all have a role to play in protecting our environment for future generations.
This Earth Day, let’s stay committed to advocacy, education, and action in support of a more sustainable and just world.

💦✨ Happy Songkran! ✨💦
Today we celebrate the Thai New Year, a time of renewal, reflection, and joy. Songkran is known for its vibrant water festivals, symbolizing washing away the past and welcoming a fresh start.
As we honor this tradition, we celebrate Thai culture, community, and the spirit of togetherness that brings people closer across generations.
Wishing everyone a year filled with happiness, prosperity, and new beginnings 🌼

Today is AANHPI Women’s Equal Pay Day, a reminder that Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander women still earn less than white men. Many must work months longer to catch up, and the gap is even wider for some communities within the AANHPI umbrella.
This is a call to action. We must push for pay transparency, challenge workplace bias, and support policies that advance equity for all.
Equal pay is overdue ⚖️
